BACK TO THE 1800’s

America has regressed to the 1800’s and early 1900’s. The Edwardian Era of Britain.  At that time the “Aristocracy” (wealthy families with Manor houses and vast estates) determined the fate of all other citizens of Britain.  Since only land owners could vote, this entitled the aristocracy to sit in the House of Lords (Britain’s upper house of government) and veto any law they didn’t like.  Powerful families ran the country from these estates.  They would invite the “power brokers” to their estates for the week-end to “lobby” them on what laws to pass.  Does this sound familiar?  It should!

Today wealthy families and corporations determine the fate of the citizens of the United States.  Especially since the United States Supreme Court has “entitled” them the right to spend as much money as they want to “buy elections”.  These wealthy families and corporations lobby the power brokers (members of congress) with invites to their “Manor Houses” and all paid expensive trips to any country they want to vacation in.  We have gone back to the time of the “Aristocracy” when the land owners controlled Britain!  This same control today by wealthy families and corporations is not only of the citizen of the United States.  It is the control of the presidency, congress and all federal, state and local elections.  Money buys votes!   The money spent on ads lying about the opposition can determine the outcome of any election.  Remember the “Swift Boat” Veterans untrue political ads about John Kerry in 2004?

How are “We The People” going to get our country back from these 2015 United States “Aristocrats”??

 

OBAMA SAID “NO PROOF” RUSSIA INTERFERED!

During his last press conference on Friday, December 16^th, President Obama said there was “no proof” Russia interfered in the election.  This explains why the CIA, FBI & some other Intelligence officers (not all agree within these agencies) will not “disclose” their findings. They don’t have any!  What a “sham”!  One of the worst lies promoted during the presidential campaign by Hillary, her campaign staff, her supporters and, MSM.  Obama finally admitted there was “no proof”.  However, Hillary, Podesta, the entire Democratic establishment and, MSM are still “promoting the false news”.

This not only undermines our democracy.  It is also very dangerous!  Obama has always been “cool” to Russia. Yes, Putin has done nothing to “warm” our relations with Russia.  Nevertheless, it is dangerous to accuse another country of such an act.  This is not the diplomacy Obama likes to be noted for.

Russia is another country we have no business interfering in.  Haven’t we started enough wars getting involved in other countries internal strife (Middle East)?  Is it worth starting another war using a lie about Russia to try to win an election?  It is appalling to me to see a candidate with no evidence promote these lies.  I know Trump has promoted lies as well.  However, we are talking about this unprecedented accusation against another country during a U.S. presidential campaign.

For those who believe anything the CIA says, I suggest they do some research into the CIA’s actions both at home and abroad.  Covert unethical or worse actions Americans had no idea were going on at the time and, are still going on.  One of those actions was interfering in other countries elections!  The intelligence agencies are an extension of the sitting president and need his approval for any action taken.  Remember, these are the same intelligence agencies that G.W. Bush used to promote the Iraq invasion.

It’s a sad day when we Americans can no longer trust anyone in either political party, government or MSM to “do the right thing”.  To put the American people’s needs above their own ambition and greed.

ELECTION IS OVER!

Emotions are raw.  Half the people are “weeping and gnashing teeth”, crying “foul” and, joining protests because Donald Trump won the election.  The other half is celebrating the fact Donald Trump won the election. This is the outcome of a very ugly, contentious campaign for one and a half years.

Since we live in a “free speech” country, no matter how it may anger people, the protesters have a right to protest. The ugly, contentious campaign has spilled over into post-election anger.  The anger felt by these protesters will diminish and, hopefully, when things “calm down”, the election results are accepted by everyone we can get on with the task of healing America.

MSM and some Hillary supporters will not accept the outcome of the election and their hatred of Trump is fierce! They are continuing the “campaign” by repeating everything Trump said or did during the campaign and, using the same insulting words Hillary used to describe him. They are even making references to Hitler!  Other Hillary supporters have accepted the results and are getting on with their lives.

Bernie Sanders endorsed Hillary after an ugly, contentious primary campaign. He showed us how a sincere and caring person who loves America accepts defeat.  Hillary Clinton gave a very gracious speech and called on every American to support Trump’s candidacy.  President Obama did the same.  (*Just in:  Hillary is now going to pursue a recount!).

Now I’m going to write what I really think!

I never voted for Trump.  However, the election is over and Trump is now President-elect whether we like it or not. So, get over it!  Stop the “hate messages”.   Use this “energy” to get involved with local politics.  Work for those you believe would be the best person for whatever seat they will be running for in two years.  That’s a short time in politics. We need to get a Democrat controlled congress to stop Trump’s agenda we don’t agree with.

MSM; TV Networks, newspapers, internet web sites, etc. have the money and power to continue this “angry” reporting as long as they want.  Their concern is not “healing” this country or making a “smooth transition” for the President-elect.  Since then election writers are still doing the “pre-election” articles, insulting Trump even though he has not uttered one “racist” word, “abused” one woman, talked of deporting one Muslim, one Mexican or any other immigrant.  These reporters/writers are all Hillary supporters and blame everyone but Hillary for her loss!  They are still in “campaign mode”!  This is what is driving these articles.  They believe they are so much smarter, educated, better mannered and well-spoken than those who voted for Trump!  They would never admit maybe they aren’t!  The journalists and reporters I thought were non-partisan definitely are not!   I no longer read or watch them.  I realize their inability to accept the reality of the election.  They are not willing to even give President-elect Trump a chance.  I was a Bernie Sander supporter and am still hoping Rep. Ellison will be the next DNC chairman. These are my biggest disappointments because I believed they were “above” this type of “insulting the now President-elect”.  Continually insulting the President-elect only makes that person seem “small” and does nothing to heal the divide in America.  Those who are “picking to pieces” every name mentioned for a cabinet choice are “speculating” and “fear-mongering”.  Again, wait until all these “speculations” are “fact”.

The country needs the “peaceful transition” MSM gave Bill Clinton, G.W. Bush and Obama. I remember the Republican attacks on Obama but not the entire MSM.  There is one article   I suggest you read written by Matt Taibbi on December 13, 2009 titled “Obama’s Big Sellout: The President has Packed His Economic Team with Wall Street Insiders”. Taibbi also wrote “Barack Obama ran for president as a man of the people, standing up to Wall Street as the global economy melted down in that fateful fall of 2008. He pushed a tax plan to soak the rich, ripped NAFTA for hurting the middle class and tore into John McCain for supporting a bankruptcy bill that sided with wealthy bankers “at the expense of hardworking Americans………..”. ”THEN he got elected.”  Taibbi also wrote “What’s taken place in the year since Obama won the presidency has turned out to be one of the most dramatic political about-faces in our history.”   Obama’s “Hope and Change” was all “smoke and mirrors” and forgotten the day he took office.  Taibbi goes into detail how Obama’s cabinet choices affected every single American. There are many records of what Bill Clinton promised in his campaigns and did the reverse!  Ditto for G.W. Bush. There was never this amount of MSM anger towards any of them.

This is probably the first candidate in a very long time who told people what he would actually do when president, even though Trump knew he was alienating many.  He is following through with some of it.  However, Trump has actually changed his mind on others which are good for America.  No TPP.  No lobbyists in his cabinet.  Bannon (the bad guy) set up a meeting for Trump with Tulsi Gabbard, who is anti-war and was a Bernie Sander supporter. Trump has spoken against the white supremacists.  He has made it a point to assure people of different religion or race, he considers them all Americans. He is “open” to climate change.  Trump said he would not prosecute Hillary and spoke well of her.  This is not to “gloss over” his many faults.  I am just trying to point out that because a candidate promises to do things you want doesn’t make it so.

There are only a few presidents since George Washington & Abraham Lincoln who have truly put America first.  President Franklin D. Rosevelt was one. Although Jimmy Carter had America’s best interests at heart, he did not get the support he needed from Democrats.  In politics, there is no “savior” for the country.  There are only choices to be made.

ABRAHAM LINCOLN wrote:  “Let us neither express, nor cherish, any harsh feelings towards any citizen who, by his vote, has differed with us. Let us at all times remember that all American citizens are brothers of a common country, and should dwell together in the bonds of fraternal feeling.”

These are wise words we should all live by!

WHAT DEBATE??

WHAT DEBATE??

 There was no “debate” Monday night.  There was an hour and half of Trump & Hillary insulting each other, taking credit for things they haven’t done and, making promises they do not intend to keep.  We learned absolutely nothing from this debate.  Every issue has been covered and regurgitated in the news every day. This debate was a “sham” by the two political parties that have control of how many debates, who can participate in these debates, what subjects to discuss, etc.  They also make the rules for how many tickets, to whom, etc.  There is nothing “democratic” about these debates!

After reading the MS news sites, 99% of the articles were about how badly Trump did, followed with each and every “mistake” the writers and pundits could make note of.  CNN gave Hillary the “debate win.”  The “poll” was based on polling 41% Democrats and 26% Republicans. …DUH!   There was not one negative comment about Hillary’s performance.  The only comments about Hillary were positive.  It’s as if we were looking at two different debates.  I do realize that certain newscasts and newspapers are “biased”.   The HuffPost was the most biased as far as articles written and number of articles against Trump (mostly all) on the site.  I read this site every day but will no longer.  In every news site it was “follow the leader” with the same comments about Trump’s “bad performance” and the same “glowing remarks” for Hillary.  Out of all the articles I read, I found only two writers who did a good “journalistic job” of covering this debate.  They treated each candidate more equally than other writers. They are Jonathan Easley and Joe Concha.

I also checked out CNN and MSNBC.  I found the same attitude on those as well.  Making fun of Trump’s performance and talking about how great Hillary was, to the point of nausea!  Although I have never watched FOX, I probably should have gone to that channel to watch for a while to get some kind of “biased balance”.  I have never paid any attention to FOX because they are so brazenly biased.  However, I stopped watching the others during the primaries because they are no better in their bias than FOX!

I am no Trump supporter and would never vote for him.  However, what I have come to realize is that it really doesn’t matter who we vote for.  Both candidates are not running to help the American people.  They are running for themselves and the power!  One thing Hillary and her supporters always stress is that Hillary will keep you safe, Trump is going to “blow up the world”.   Hillary has “proved” her ability to do just that with every “regime change” she helped in the Middle East and, she promises more of the same.  Yet, they accuse Trump of “fear mongering”!  Trump supporters talk about Hillary not disclosing transcripts of her Wall Street speeches.  Yet, it’s o.k. that Trump doesn’t disclose his tax returns.  Just one accusation after another from both the Hillary and Trump camps.  This entire campaign is a total disaster and, these debates are a “farce”!

I have said before and will say again. I calm myself with the thought if we were able to survive G.W. Bush for eight years, we will be able to survive either of these candidates for four years!

Hang in there America!  Our day will come!

DEMOCRATIC DEBATE – WOLF BLITZER WON!

It was blatantly obvious Wolf Blitzer gave Hillary much more time to talk than he did Bernie!  He not only gave Hillary the “upper hand” in this debate but on top of that he allowed Hillary to interrupt Bernie when he was answering the question.  The questions Blitzer asked of Bernie were “explain yourself”!  He allowed Hillary much more time to “explain” her actions!  He asked Hillary several questions that she never answered and again, allowed her a lot of time to defend her position on those questions.

Dana Bash did the same as Blitzer.  She asked three “explain yourself” questions and when Bernie was answering, she allowed Hillary to interrupt.  Bash even tried “baiting” Bernie, comparing something he had said with something Trump had said!  That was completely “off base”!

Blitzer did ask one good question of Hillary.  That was the fact that President Obama  said his greatest mistake was Libya.  Blitzer asked Hillary if she felt responsible for that as well.  Blitzer never pushed for an answer and allowed her to continue defending herself.  Her excuse was that she only provided information for that decision and it was President Obama that made the decision!  It seems when it is in her favor, she “gushes” her praise and tells of her “in line with Obama’s policies”.  However, if someone has to take the blame, make it President Obama’s fault!

Hillary did not answer questions about 1) her position on fracking. 2) what lies Hillary said Bernie made about her money from the fossil fuel industry, 3) her part in Libya failure, etc.  Every time Bernie brought up a subject of what she did or didn’t do, Hillary laughed and took lots of time not answering his questions either. Hillary brought up the dead issue of “unqualified” once again.  And, again, she accused Bernie of not being serious enough on women’s rights issues. She also brought up, for the umpteenth time, the lie about Bernie doing away with ACA!  When asked about the wealthy paying more into social security, she used Bernie’s plan to answer!  Hillary continued to claim her closeness with Obama and agreement with his policies.  Also, her time as Secretary of State. As Secretary of State, she was involved in the Libya decision but she will not take any responsibility for that!

Actually, there is really nothing Hillary can honestly say she accomplished as Secretary of State other than she did a lot of traveling!!  She lied more than once making “claims” of accomplishment in that position and there are many sources to prove she lied!  As always, Hillary used the “I”, “I”, “I” word and Bernie used the “we”, “we”, “we” word!

I’m not going to write about Bernie or his policies.  People know who Bernie Sanders is and what he stands for.  They know he is an honest, trusted and compassionate man whose policies are for the good of America, the middle class, the poor and the downtrodden, etc.  He needs no defining.

This debate was a “fiasco” by CNN and moderators Wolf Blitzer and Dana Bash!

HILLARY CLAIMS VICTORY – BEFORE VOTE COUNT DONE!

 

No one can say it wasn’t an interesting night for the Iowa caucuses!  Other writers can give their take on the Republican side of these caucuses.

The most interesting action taken by a candidate was before the vote count was even completed.  Hillary had 49.9% of the delegates and Bernie had 49.6% of the delegates.  However, Hillary “felt the need” to claim victory before it was over!  There is still doubt it is.

To me, this is a typical Hillary political maneuver!  “Get ahead of the game”!  Maybe she thought this would “influence” the caucus that hadn’t finished yet. This was ‘shameful’ and could possibly backfire on her.  Even a prominent journalist said this was not a good thing to do.

There has been much talk and many articles written on the “coin toss” part of this election.  What I found is the “uncertainty” of who actually won is still out there.  According to one writer, even “Sam Lau, a spokesman for the Iowa Democratic Party, said the state party does not track all of the coin flips!  According to Lau, it was Sanders who fared better in the games of chance!  The Vermont Senator won six of the seven coin flips – a fact that underlines how incomplete the available data remains, and the likelihood that a full accounting of all the coin flips on Monday night would yield a more even result than initial reports suggested.”

The Iowa Democratic Party didn’t give Hillary Clinton the “thumbs up” signal until later Tuesday. Even then, they are admitting there are possibilities Sanders won!   Talk about “complicated”! These were county caucus deciders, not for the state.  As Harry Enten stated,   “These ties are not for statewide delegate equivalents.  They are for county delegates.  Those are different, and not nearly as big a deal.”

I read where the Democratic Party and CBS are involved in a joint investigation into the whole issue.  CBS will not say anything at this time.

This is going to be a very busy week for Hillary and Bernie.  Starting with a Town Hall on CNN Wednesday.  On her Tuesday evening program, Rachel Maddow of MSNBC stated the MSNBC debate on Thursday is still on even if it means just she and Chuck Todd will be the only ones there!

Oh!  The thrill of it all!

The “ESTABLISHMENT”

What is the “establishment”?  That’s been the question ever since Hillary Clinton accused Bernie Sanders of insulting organizations because he used that term.  Never mind Hillary is a big part of the “establishment”!  This is so bizarre and ridiculous!  She knows perfectly well who the “establishment” includes and it isn’t Bernie Sanders!

Hillary is the “Democrat Establishment”.  This includes the DNC, the Chairman, Debbie Wasserman Shultz, Democrat members of congress, Democrats in the Obama administration, state Democrat governors, state Democrat elected officials and many Democrat organizations that have already endorsed Hillary’s candidacy.  Normally these endorsements come after the Iowa caucus, New Hampshire primary, etc.  However, Hillary’s campaign is so “well oiled” by the “establishment” these endorsements are coming before these events to hopefully help Hillary win them.

The latest entanglement with the “establishment” is that MSNBC, The New Hampshire Union Leader, Chuck Todd and Rachael Maddow have agreed to have another debate before the New Hampshire primary.  New Hampshire has always had a Democrat debate between the Iowa caucus and the country’s first primary in New Hampshire.  All the candidates (Bernie, Hillary and O’Malley) were agreeable to this.  Sanders said “If Secretary Clinton and Gov. O’Malley want to do it, I’m there”..,…I’m in.”

However, the DNC (“establishment”) is not agreeable to this!  Their “edict” is “any candidate who participates in “unsanctioned debates” will be prohibited from future debates authorized by the DNC.”   The Hillary campaign then said she would participate only if the debate is sanctioned by the DNC.  Senator Sanders said he would abide by the DNC orders.  On Tuesday, DNC chair, Debbie Wasserman Shultz said there were no plans to sanction new debates”!  So, here we are, Wednesday night at 11PM (PT) and everything is still “up in the air”!  Of course, this may change anytime within the next hour, the next day, or anywhere in between before the MSNBC scheduled date!  Will MSNBC and the New Hampshire Union Leader win out or will the “Establishment”??

REPUBLICAN DEBATE – FUN TIME!!

 

Don’t you just love reading all the opinions on the Republican debate Wednesday night!  “Here’s the winners and here’s the losers.”  “This is why Jeb will never be president.”  “This is why Rubio will.”  Trump lost”, etc.  Headlines from “wild and wooly” to a more calm “clashed”, etc.   I must have watched a different debate than others.   I didn’t see much excitement.  Just the usual political “brouhaha”.  If the result CNBC wanted was to inform the American voters, it failed miserably!

There was one moment that could be described as “wild”.  That was when Ted Cruz lambasted the moderators for their stupid questions and calling CNBC out for its rules of the debate.  His performance was the usual “staged event”!  It was also a way not to answer a question he didn’t like!  However, as difficult it is for me to agree with Cruz on anything, I do believe the moderators did ask inane questions that had nothing to do with the issues people were wanting to hear about.

Some opinions were that Trump had a bad night because he wasn’t his usual “blustery” self.  I saw his demeanor as a “settling in” to the whole debate process and finally giving others a chance to have their say.  Of course, his rhetoric hasn’t changed any.  He still has no rational answer for the issues facing our country.  Trump is just one big “fizzle”, blustery or otherwise!

Ben Carson appeared to be and sounded “tired”. His answers to the questions bore that out!  They were nonsensical and it took him forever to answer a simple question. His “flat tax” was a bust!  Has his 15 minutes of fame passed?

Rand Paul’s “flat tax” went nowhere either.  When he was asked a question but took the “answer time” to “scold” the moderators for not giving him enough time, he paid dearly for it.  He was not allowed more time to answer the initial question. He was not happy!

Carly Fiorina is like a broken record.  She just keeps spinning the same lies.  I wonder if she will be at the “kid’s table” again.

Mike Huckabee should have been at the “kids table”!

It seemed like John Kasich was given a lot of time.  Going from ultra conservative to moderate Republican is not an easy thing to do!  I’m sure he lost all the Tea Party votes.

Chris Christy has to be the most pathetic candidate on stage.  Even though the state he is governor of is in shambles, he continues to lie about his leadership that led to the state’s downfall!  He blames  the Democrats!!  Christy has no shame!!  Hopefully, he won’t even make it to the “kids table” next time.

Jeb Bush is an abject failure!  Daddy, Mommy and Brother George could not save him from himself!  Not that they didn’t try with the family gathering days before the debate.  Jeb’s feeble attempt to “sock it to” Marco Rubio backfired!  Badly!  When that failed Jeb went to the “default” position, blaming the Democrats for everything.  If Jeb would have done what brother, George did when he was a presidential candidate he may not seem so “pitiful”!  When George couldn’t answer a question he would just make a joke and then laugh.  I’m not sure Jeb has a “laugh” in him.  Is the Bush Dynasty really over?

Marco Rubio, the man some are predicting could be president, is a very crafty, conniving, self- seeking politician. Rubio was given Jeb on a “silver plate”, knowing full well Jeb was going to bring the subject of Rubio’s senate voting record up.  Rubio thrilled the crowd with his “putdown” to Jeb.  Rubio saw the response Cruz got when he blasted the media so Rubio got on that “band wagon” when he didn’t want to answer a question.  He was extremely adept at calmly “answering the question” by talking about something not related to the question.  Mainly, bashing the Democrats and President Obama. That’s always good “red meat” for Republicans. Even when asked about his tax plan Rubio answered by telling the moderator he was wrong!  Rubio has not a “smidgen” of experience that would qualify him to be president!  Yet, here he is in a presidential candidate debate!!  This guy has as much “chutzpah” as Trump.  Only he does it quietly!

 

 

“HILLARY,HILLARY, HILLARY” – LET’S ALL CALM DOWN!!

 

What more can be said about Hillary Clinton’s performance at the Benghazi hearings??  I have read many MSM opinion pieces as well as the comment sections in these pieces.  It boils down to two opinions.  The Republicans think the “interrogaters” won and the Democrats think Hillary won.  So, what else is new?

The comment sections on articles I have read have the same results.  The difference is the “language” used to express their opinions.  You can “feel” the hate from the staunch Republican comments.  From the Hillary supporters, based on her performance, you are told who the next president will be.

I have come to the conclusion that this country is run by a bunch of second rate lawyers who couldn’t make it in the private sector so they became politicians.  This whole Benghazi business has taken too many years and too much taxpayer money to come to the same conclusion in nine “investigations”!!  Meanwhile, there is so much to be done for our country before it collapses from inattention!  The Republicans have done nothing but stop anything that would help the middle class ever since Obama was president.  Time spent by them on actually doing something productive for the country is zero!   This is the State of our Union!

Why is it that this type of “charade” gets more attention than an American soldier losing his life in Iraq?  He was killed helping our allies, the Kurds, free seventy five ISIS prisoners that were to be killed the next day?  Or, the latest conflict between Israel and the Palestinians with Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu blaming the Palestinians for the holocaust! Or, seven more churches burned in St. Louis, Missouri!  The list goes on!  Yet, all attention is on another useless investigation into the Benghazi tragedy.  The investigation was political and the coverage is political as well!!  There is nothing new in any of it except that it happened while Hillary Clinton is running for president and gives her a boost in the polls.

Although I am not a supporter of hers, I think Hillary did a very good job in handling the onslaught.   Nor, will I be a supporter based on a one day appearance.  There are still many questions on issues that have to be discussed in order to determine who would be the best candidate for president.

FIRST DEMOCRATIC DEBATE

The MSM have had their say.  The social media have had theirs.  The difference between the two is absolutely stunning!  MSM gave Hillary Clinton the win.  Social media gave Bernie Sanders the win.  Social media has millions more participating in “who won” than all the journalists, editors, publishers etc. in MSM.  Anyone who follows politics knows perfectly well Hillary has an “in” with MSM!  Her years spent in the White House, as a Senator from New York and as Secretary of State has given her time to “cultivate” the MSM.  After her appearance in the debate MSM decided they better stop the email news because they certainly don’t want to be on the wrong side of a president, should she win the election. They could give a hoot about being on the wrong side of Bernie Sanders!  He may surprise them all!

Anderson Cooper was doing his best to get some “action” going” between candidates.  He baited one candidate by asking for a comment on an action taken by another candidate in hopes that would start a “heated” discussion.  It didn’t work as he would have liked.  He did ask some good policy questions that needed answering.

Poor Lincoln Chafe!  He didn’t stand a chance.  Anderson all but ignored him.  That is a sad commentary on who the MSM favorites are.  Although Chafe has a liberal voting record (even when he was a Republican), Anderson did not give him the time to talk about this.  Chafe had to give it in “sound bites” when he was given the opportunity.  How many people know Chafe (again, as a Republican), was against the second term for G.W. Bush.  Anderson gave Chafe a “raw deal”!  I am not a Chafe supporter.  However, he deserves credit where credit is due!

Although Jim Webb was given a little more time to speak, he had to keep asking Anderson for the time.  It reminded me of a child having “to raise his hand so the teacher would allow him to speak”!  Jim Webb is a Reagan appointee and a war hero.  Although he was not in the Senate to vote on the Iraq war, he was against it.  During his term as a Republican Senator in 2007 he did get legislation passed to prohibit the use of funds for military operations in Iran without the prior approval of Congress.   He also had legislation passed to help military families. However, his “overall thinking” is more in line with the Republicans.  He does have a problem with being too arrogant and aggressive.  He has also been married three times.  I don’t know why he was divorced twice and am not passing judgement.  I am just giving the facts.

And, as always, there is Hillary Clinton.  Hillary “held her own” with the typical politically correct answers to the questions!  When asked about TPP, Hillary said she was against it after she said she was for it!  The “weakest” statement she made was as a NY Senator, she told Wall Street to “stop” while they were “taking the economy on a downward spiral”!  WOW!  That’s telling them!  However, she didn’t tell her husband, then President Bill Clinton, to “stop” when he repealed the Glass-Steagall law, giving Wall Street and the banks cart blanche to do whatever they wanted with no regulations whatsoever!  She reached her “nadir” when she made the mistake of attacking Sanders concerning his votes in the past.  Sanders gave a satisfactory explanation for those votes. This is Hillary’s way of thanking Sanders for his defense of her!  She continues to be a political “piranha” and will say anything (including lying) she thinks will get her votes.  She also has big money backing her every move!  She “caters” to women and some  women will vote for her simply because they want a woman president.  Not necessarily because they think she is qualified to be president.  However, women also like what Bernie Sanders has to say so that’s not a “done deal” for her.

I think Bernie Sanders won the night when he came to Hillary’s defense on her e-mail scandal.  This was definitely not a “politically correct” thing to do, especially not in a televised debate… helping another presidential candidate out.  It shows who Bernie Sanders is.  He does the right thing and has the desire to have an honest debate about the issues.  You could tell by the answers he gave on the policy questions.  He never changes his beliefs to suit “which way the wind is blowing”.  I believe he is the most sincere and capable person running for the presidency.  He is “authentic” in every way.
